Fingerless Gloves of Blue Heron Yarn, handmade by Laurie Francis

Shopping for yarn one day in early Summer, longtime supporter Laurie Francis came upon a skein with a lovely color and texture (pictured). Then she noticed the color had been named “Blue Heron”.

She immediately thought of the silent auction and is at work on a pair of a fingerless gloves. Attendees in prior years have witnessed fierce bidding wars over Laurie’s sweaters.

The finished product will be perfect attire for a Blue Heron Christmas concert. Or, perhaps for one of our concerts in January or February. (Though, let’s hope they won’t be needed for the April concerts!)
